Week 7: New Project Assignment - ORS System

Day 30: Introduction to New ORS Project

After successfully completing the BU LibCheck system, I was assigned to a new project - the New Online Registration System (ORS). Today I attended the project briefing and understood the scope and requirements of this new system.

Day 31: Environment Setup and Project Planning

I set up my development environment for the ORS project and started planning the development approach. This included studying the existing system and identifying areas for improvement in the new version.

Day 32: Learning the Payment Module

Today I focused on understanding the payment module of the ORS system, which will be a critical component of the registration process. I studied the existing payment workflows and brainstormed ways to enhance them.

Day 33: Database Schema Analysis

I analyzed the database schema for the payment system to understand the data structure and relationships. This knowledge will be crucial for implementing the payment features effectively.

Day 34: Implementation Planning

Today was dedicated to planning the implementation of the partial payment feature. I created detailed flowcharts and discussed the approach with senior developers to ensure alignment with project goals.

Conclusion

Week 7 marked a transition to a new and challenging project - the New Online Registration System. After successfully completing the BU LibCheck system, I'm excited to apply my skills to this new endeavor. The week focused on understanding the project scope, setting up the development environment, and planning the implementation approach, particularly for the payment module which will be my primary focus.
