Week 1: Orientation and assigning of tasks

Day 1: Orientation

On day 1, I attended the orientation at BU-ICTO, where I was assigned to develop the BU-Library Attendance System as a solo project. The system aims to digitize attendance tracking, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. My role involves designing the system, developing the frontend and backend, managing the database, and implementing security measures.

Day 2: Consultation and Planning

On Day 2, I focused on gathering system requirements by consulting with library staff and ICTO personnel. I also started drafting UI prototypes to visualize the system’s design. Additionally, I set up the project environment, to establish a solid foundation for development.

Day 3: A Productive Day Despite the Brownout

On Day 3, we experienced a brownout, so we couldn't use our computers and laptops there. Despite this, we managed to tint the windows. Later in the afternoon, at around 4 PM, we went home early due to the suspension of classes.

Day 4: Suspension of classes

On Day 4, classes were suspended due to the raising of ORANGE Rainfall Warning by PAGASA Southern Luzon in Albay. No work was conducted on the project for the day.
